Making consistent domed disc-shaped beads

I'm trying to make a set of as close to identical as possible disc-shaped beads, with a domed center. I've made one that I liked, after sanding and shaping a bit (see the pictures), although it doesn't have a hole because I have trouble making a hole that long without distorting it. Do any of you have any tips for producing 12-15 of these so that they look identical? I've tried making a two-part plaster mold, but it doesn't seem to be the best way to go about it.

Disc shaped beads

Hi,
To get all the beads identical, you can use a paint palette to shape them. You can see how to do that in this tutorial:
Puff beads

You do not have to make them hollow. When the two halves are cured, you can fill them with clay. Use a very thin mandrel or a bamboo rod to make the holes. You will not distort the beads, since the two halves are cured.

You do not have to glue two halves together either, but can fill one half with clay, cure it and then make a flat backing.

You can make the beads as small or big as you like, depending on what kind of shape cutter you use.

I hope this will answer your question. I wish you good luck and all the best!
